REGIONAL EMPLOYERS’ ASSOCIATION – SVERDLOVSK REGIONAL UNION OF INDUSTRIALISTS AND ENTREPRENEURS (SOSPP)
In 2011 SOSPP will celebrate its 20th Anniversary.
Nowadays SOSPP includes more than 500 enterprises, 15 industrial groups.
Aggregate (cumulative) production volume of enterprises SOSPP members is 70% amount of gross industrial production of the region.
The number of employees involved in SOSPP members activities is about 1 mil. people.
In this year more than 90 companies are going to join SOSPP
SOSPP today
SOSPP execute the legal protection of its members:
- On the legal issues lobbies the concerns of the members
- Is a part of commission and other public councils connected with prosecutor offices and other supervising parties
- Takes part in customs office activities
- Participates in Slerdlovsk Area Government activities
SOSPP – Legislative activities
With the assistance of the Union the following documents have been developed and passed: «About the state support of subjects of innovative activity in Sverdlovsk area», «About the state scientific and technical policy of Sverdlovsk area».
SOSPP has revealed the problem territories which are subject to revision of a cadastral estimation of the area, participated in a process of preparation of the next state cadastral estimation of the lands.
Besides, SOSPP amendments to the federal law «About formation in the Russian Federation», «The Labour code of the Russian Federation», the bill «About police» appeared.
Example of effective cooperation
Of SOSPP and the authorities in 2010
Under the initiative of the Union amendments are made to the regional law: About the rate of the profit tax of the organizations for separate categories of tax bearers».
According to the new law «About the profit tax rate» the privileges can be made for the companies with an authorized capital stock not less than 10 million roubles and registered in Sverdlovsk area since 2010.
The rate of the profit tax for such enterprises within 5 years will be decreased from 20 to 13,5 percent.
Under the initiative of the Union amendments are made to the regional law «About establishment of the property tax for the organizations».
In Sverdlovsk area such example of preferential order for the taxation of property can be proudly named progressive.
Now the companies of the Ural Region, who since 2010 invest funds in technological updating of manufactures, will have an opportunity within one year not to pay the tax to property from the updated funds. This fact will create some additional purposes for successful realization of serious industrial and infrastructural projects in region.
SOSPP – international relations
During the Russian-Ukrainian forum which appered in September SOSPP and the Ukrainian Union of industrialists and businessmen agreed about cooperation within the created Coordination council of Russian-Ukrainian inter-regional economic cooperation under the authorized representative of the President of Russian Federation in UrFO.
For the Ukrainian party SOSPP creates electronic base of the enterprises of Ural Region which plan to build business relations with Ukrainian companies in order to:
- Renew cooperation communications
- To realize joint investment projects
- To expand commodity markets of Ural production
Within the year SOSPP representatives took part in negotiations with delegations of Mongolia, Libya, Germany, Finland, Latin America, Great Britain, China, Qatar, Italy, Germany, etc.
It is necessary to mention that at the international meetings which were passing in Ekaterinburg the general phrases and formal appeals to cooperation sounds less, and specific proposals are more and more under discussion, the presentations of concrete projects of our Ural enterprises and foreign businessmen appear, agreements subscribe.
Nowadays REGIONAL EMPLOYERS’ ASSOCIATION – SVERDLOVSK REGIONAL UNION OF INDUSTRIALISTS AND ENTREPRENEURS (SOSPP) mission is to create positive image of region and involvement of investments.
Bringing preliminary results of 2010, it is necessary to notice that the Union became really operating advisory body which forms constructive offers for the decision of problems of the enterprises.
